This 5K run/walk travels through the quaint Town of Wakefield, Virginia and out through the surrounding countryside. The Fun Run will take a loop around the streets of our town. This is a family friendly event, so strollers are welcome and encouraged.
The
streets and county roads are well maintained for a comfortable run. There will be turns, small hills and a nice
straightaway for the competitive runner, exercise enthusiast or those new to 5K
races.

Participants will receive a T-shirt. Late and Race day registration accepted, but T-Shirts are not guaranteed. All Fun Run participants will receive a medal. There will be no rain/inclement weather date.

Parking
is located off Route 460 (General Mahone Hwy / County Drive) in the parking lot
of Tidewater Academy (look for Tidewater Academy’s Marquis sign), as well as
the 217 W. Church Street lot between Tidewater Academy and the Wakefield United
Methodist Church.
